Grassroots Conservative Andrew Messer Takes on Corporate-Sponsored Grayson Stone

MVLA PAC-endorsed Andrew Messer is going head-to-head against Grayson Stone for Legislative District 25 (that’s the City of Twin Falls) in the upcoming May 19 primary election.

If you’ve wondered how to determine which candidate is more likely to truly represent Magic Valley voters once in office, look no further than the Idaho Sunshine Report of campaign contributions. Here’s what we found.

Grayson Stone – $1000 contributions

  • Idahos Future PAC
  • Mickelson Farms LLC
  • Professional Firefighters of Idaho Political Action Committee
  • Idaho Dairy Industry PAC
  • 3T Holding, LLC
  • JES Enterprises, LLC
  • 3M Real Estate Fund LLC
  • 3M Investment Group LLC
  • 2T Real Estate Holdings LLC
  • Idaho State AFL-CIO State PAC
  • Bat Holdings LLC

TOTAL: $11,000

And that’s just the $1000 donations. Stone has many more PAC players and outside groups he is now beholden to.

It’s an open secret that big-donor politicians answer first and foremost to their big-dog donors that fuel their campaigns. They have to. And Grayson Stone will be no exception once in office.

Ask yourself this: knowing how many corporate dollars are invested in his campaign, how credible do his promises to “solve problems…focus on solutions…keep government limited…not play politics” seem to you now?

  • Fox Creek Canyon LLC

Yep. That’s it. All the rest are from private citizens. When it comes to which candidate will make good on their promise to serve Magic Valley voters, not outsiders, limit government growth and spending, need we say more?

MESSER: WHY I AM RUNNING:

I am running to fight for personal liberty, less government spending, more tax cuts, and the kind of Idaho where the next generation can thrive. My concern for the American family is personal: I know how expensive childcare is and I want to help shape the future of Idaho so my grandkids—and every Idaho family—can grow up in a state that stays conservative, free, and rooted in small-town values.

ISSUES I AM FOCUSED ON:

  • Rein in Idaho Government Growth — Idaho’s state government has grown 39% in the last five years. I will work to slow spending growth, lower taxes, and support common sense reforms like repealing the grocery tax so families keep more of what they earn.
  • Pro-Second Amendment — The Second Amendment exists to protect us from tyranny.  I am an enhanced concealed carry member and will defend the right to keep and bear arms without apology.
  • Pro-Life & Family — I am committed to the sanctity of life and deeply concerned about the American family and will support policies that strengthen families.
  • Keep Idaho Conservative — I will work to preserve the Idaho our grandkids will inherit small-town values, local control, and a state that stays free and conservative for generations to come.
  • Reduce Reliance on Federal Money — I will work to reduce Idaho’s dependence on federal funding so we’re not held hostage by government shutdowns, and work to build a more self-sufficient state budget that protects critical services when Washington fails.
