Valerie Varadi’s Facebook post is misleading voters about our voter guide
Here’s a snapshot of her Facebook post:

Her Facebook post goes on to say that YAL
is one of the biggest spenders in Idaho elections in recent years. Their campaigns are highly coordinated — often deploying paid canvassers, many from out of state, who follow scripts that selectively quote and distort the voting records of targeted candidates.
The Citizens Alliance of Idaho is another front connected to the Citizens Alliance PAC based in Washington, D.C., which recently contributed $450,000 to its Idaho affiliate.
Stay informed, and don’t be misled.
Allow me to set the record straight.
Mislead #1:
Yep. YAL gave MVLA $30,000 in 2024, but to defeat Prop 1, the Ranked Choice Voting ballot initiative in November. Thanks to YAL, Magic Valley voters, armed with our 2024 Voter Guide, Google videos and social media, defeated Prop 1, and by wide margins.
Our 2024 Voter Guide, not the Twin Falls or Jerome County Central Republican Committees, did the hard work of informing voters of the deceptive ranked choice voting scam.
Mislead #2:
Your Twin Falls Chief Deputy Clerk and Elections Officer would like you to believe YAL had a hand in our 2026 Voter Guide. Nope. Nor was Citizens Alliance of Idaho or their PAC involved in any way. Every dime came from Idaho and Magic Valley voters.
Mislead #3:
She would also like to give you the impression we are deceiving voters by giving them the impression that our Voter Guide is from the Idaho GOP. Wrong again. Had she not cleverly pasted the front cover with her graphics, viewers would have seen exactly who’s behind it: US! Thank you Magic Valley voters for your donations!

When a Twin Falls County employee influences an election
It’s concerning to us that our Chief Deputy Clerk and Elections Officer for Twin Falls County, by making such a post, is revealing her bias against conservative voters she is being paid to serve, not bash. We hope her boss, Kristina Glascock, Twin Falls County Clerk, knows better than to allow any employee of the Twin Falls County Clerk’s Office to influence an election with a misleading post like this one.
We think the Twin Falls County Clerk’s Office owes Magic Valley voters an apology. Don’t you? I’ll let you know if we get one.
By the way, Kristina Glascock (208-736-4004) has a challenger in the 2026 May Primary election: Jose Sanchez for Twin Falls County Clerk.
