CREIGHTON KNIGHT, Candidate for Twin Falls County Commissioner District 1

WHY I AM RUNNING:
As anyone who has lived in a blue state knows, the turn to high taxes and liberalism didn’t happen overnight. It was the steady growth of government on the local and state levels that turned them blue. That’s why I will work to keep Twin Falls County government small and accountable. All of my votes on budgets, taxes, and county codes will put citizens above the government.
ISSUES I AM FOCUSED ON:
- Protecting homeowners from high property taxes. Smart budgeting that prioritizes citizens over government. No Windmills, ever, in our county.
- Supporting law enforcement and first responders. Where necessary, revising county codes to promote small business growth in our county.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES ME FROM MY OPPONENT:
- I will work for smart growth that provides maximum benefits to our citizens and protects our land and water resources.
- I believe voters want elected officials who actually listen and understand. They want experienced business leaders and not bureaucrats. All of my votes on budgets, taxes, and county codes will put citizens above the government.
ABOUT ME:
- My family and I live in Filer. Potatoes brought me to Idaho for work, but the friendly people and quality of life here kept me here. I have raised my family, operated a small business, and am a lifelong conservative
- Republican and Christian.
- Master’s Degree in Business Admin.
- 18 years in Ag and manufacturing management.
- Start-up manager on projects totaling over $35 M.
- Board Member, City of Filer Area of Impact.
- School Board Treasurer.

JERRY HOLTON, Candidate for Jerome County Commissioner

WHY I AM RUNNING:
Over the last few years, I have watched county government drift away from basic values. Too often, decisions are made without listening to the people who will live with the consequences. Landowners, families, and small businesses are treated like obstacles instead of partners. I have seen a pattern of decisions moving forward with little notice, limited public input, and unchecked development.
ISSUES I AM FOCUSED ON:
Responsible growth: I believe growth should respect private property, water, infrastructure, and the people who live here. Decisions should benefit Jerome County residents first, not outside interests that leave locals to deal with the consequences.
Transparency: It means clear agendas, proper notice, and real opportunities for public input. It means that public records are accessible without delay or runaround. It means explaining costs, risks, and long-term impacts in plain language so people can understand what is being proposed and why.
Straight answers: When elected, I will do the work the right way. I will listen before voting, read the full record, and ask hard questions when something does not add up. I will return calls and emails, and I will not treat citizens like a problem to be managed.
ABOUT ME:
Jerome County is my home. This is where I raised my family, built my business, and learned the value of putting citizens first. I care about private property, honest government, and making sure growth is responsible and makes sense for the people who already live and work in this county.
