Having trouble finding voter information on candidates running for city council and school boards in your county? So have we.
Thankfully, Magic Valley News voting page has a complete listing of city council and school board candidates and sample ballots for every county.
But when it comes to finding candidate info, voters need to do a little digging on their own.
Here’s what we recommend that’s worth the effort:
Go to the Magic Valley News voting page to find your county. There you will find the name(s) of each candidate and the seat they are running for. Copy the name and seat (example: Cody Gilland, Hagerman City Council). Enter into your web browser to search. If you have access to Facebook, add Facebook, because several candidates are posted there.

Find your county clerk. For questions about upcoming elections, what is being voted on, where you vote, registration, your precinct number and more.

Become an election worker. Conducting successful elections is only possible because of the dedicated, civic-minded poll workers who staff voting locations across Idaho. Becoming a poll worker is an excellent opportunity to actively contribute to your community and play a fundamental role in supporting the electoral system.
